I have been court reporting for close to 24 years. I have always struggled with trying to find a system to keep my jobs organized and my finances together. I have always just kept a small notebook in my Depo Book with a list of where my jobs are, which scopist has them, what proofreader has them. In my phone notes, I would have different list of jobs that were owed to me from agencies. I just felt so scattered. My daughter just started court reporting last week, and of course because she is younger, she went on search of a program that could help her organize her jobs and her finances. Why I never thought of that in 24 years? I don't know!! My daughter gave me a quick tutorial on the system and I signed up immediately. I literally feel like I walked out of a cave and into the year 2026. This program is so easy to use, and it is so nice to have my jobs and my finances all in one place. I love that it even shows me how much money I'll be paying in taxes. This helps to keep me on track and saving the right amount of money.
